I don't see why it would need a flex pipe if it doesn't have one on the stock exhaust

Stock uses donut gasket to allow flex.

I heard the same thing. I asked a few times and for some reason it doesn't get answered

The one in the pictures and videos is a prototype version. Production models will have a flex section in them.

I think I peg this as my favorite exhaust note to date.

I wish I could hear it as just a catback. The Turboback definitely seems too loud for my tastes

Let me see if I can work that out next week with just the catback and factory downpipe.

Cobb Accessport for 2015 WRX

Mid-week Cobb dropped the Accessport Release! We immediately wanted to jump on board with the R&D. The guys over at Cobb Surgeline in Portland, OR. Picked up my car yesterday for some development work. I should have the vehicle back on Saturday with Accessport ready for some mapping and more product development. Now that we have a tuning solution let the fun begin!

Here is a shot of the car at the Cobb location.

We also added the AP to our website.

Thanks!

Default 2015 WRX Intake - Sneak Peak

2015 WRX Intake - Sneak Peak

Here is a quick look at our Extreme Turbo Systems 2015 Subaru WRX Intake. I believe this is the only intake on the market that uses full piping. Some of the other intakes on the market have long silicone transitions. In my past experience these silicone hoses can collapse during suction unless reinforced. We also have an option for a larger MAF housing for the guys who decide to go bigger turbocharger in the future (tune required for this option).

We have had a decent demand for guys that want to purchase the intake prior to production. I'm working on this right now and should have pricing and a link posted up shortly.

Features:
  • Full 3.0" stainless steel piping.
  • 5" velocity stack w/ K&N Filter. (Optional larger MAF available for the guys going with an upgraded turbocharger.)
  • Optional air box.
  • Fits with factory ducting.
  • Available in brushed stainless steel or wrinkle black powder coat.
  • Includes everything needed for a complete install.
  • Installs without removing the bumper.

Thanks!

Michael

This intake, ladies and gentlemen, is the one to get.

*Note: I have no affiliation whatsoever with either Mishimoto or ETS, but simply recognize good engineering when I see it.

They also have the fastest GTR right now!

ETS is awesome and use their products on all of our shop sponsored drag cars!

My 2015 Wrx will have the whole ETS lineup once it arrives in September!

We don't have the release date available yet. I can say it will be priced competitively in the market.
