Completely missed this one - but they lasted break-in and lifted on the dyno.

I think I said it elsewhere, since MoFab doesn't do engine work I just bought an Outfront V4 Ultra short-block already machined for 1/2" headstuds.

Which reminds me that maybe I should sell the IAG block.

Hi again mate,

Just reading your thread, which clutch started slipping? I was considering buying the xclutch twin disc organic. What was the noise like of your xclutch? Any problems with it?

The XClutch 8" Twin Ceramic was slipping after maybe 6000 miles, 1 time at a drag strip with 6 runs, 1 track day, and 1 autox.

Yes, that one.

MoFab couldn't explain it, and rep from XClutch told me it "Wasn't meant for my kind of driving" ???

Anyway, they didn't have a rebuild kit (clutch discs) in the country so I dumped them and went back to a Competition Clutch.

The sound from the XClutch with the clutch pedal depressed was pretty loud.

Suprised they gave you that one when they have a pull type 9" ceramic sprung disc?

I think it was what was available at the height of the pandemic, don't recall the exact conversations but there were shortages on everything.

Ahhh true, makes sense then.
