Unhappy need help?? How do I install my Blitz DD BOV??

Just got a used Blitz DD Bov. I went and bought the adapter yesterday. Do I just put the hose onto the new BOV. Do I need to plug the return pipe on the stock BOV hoses?? Sorry can't read Japanese and I haven't been able to find a decent set of instructions on line. Thanks in advance. I appreciate it.

Also, Do/Should I install my boost gauge before I install my Blitz BOV? The guy who had it before me was running a lot of boost so it may be adjusted to 23psi. mine is pretty much still stock. Thanks again.

The Blitz BOV is 100% atmospheric. You should've gotten a plug for the stock hose that vents back into the intake. You'll have to use that to plug it up. It's a pretty simple install otherwise...take off the stock BOV, plug the intake hose, unbolt one of the AC lines so you can fit the flange for the IC on, bolt the Blitz BOV on, and rebolt the AC line.

As for boost, it's not going to make you boost more. You just have to make sure to adjust the screw on the top of the BOV so that it doesn't vent while you're idling.

Default Thanks

No plug for the bypass valve was included. Thats what I get for getting a used part. Is there a plug I can buy at the store that might work... Thanks for the quick response. Excited to get it on there.

Duck tape . J/K you can plug it with whatever you want just make sure you've got a way to get it out too.

i second the duct tape idea. maybe your could score a huge bolt at home depot and zip tie it on there. good luck.

Default plug

I may try the bolt idea or maybe I can find a plug the same size at an auto store of some sort. I was thinking if I find one I can just clamp it in w/ a hose clamp.

I also have my GFB Manual boost controller to install. Is there a safe setting I can increase the boost to w/ stock parts?? Is this safe to do in moderation??

Thanks for the help..

If you don't have a boost gauge yet, do not install your boost controller. You'll have no way of keeping track of what your boost is, and you can do some real damage to your engine if it's up too high.
