Tri-State Subaru's Annual SVX, WRX, & STi Meet, 05/07/05

Tri-State Subaru's annual SVX, WRX, & STi meet is only two weeks away, and I just curious if any NESIC members are planning on attending. I know there is a link in the Meet's thread about it, but we haven't heard anything from the NESIC camp yet, so I just thought I'd ask. We're hoping this will be the largest meet yet, to show Tri-State our appreciation for doing this every year (usually twice a year, in fact).

The last meet there was a blast. There were several NESIC members in attendance (though I don't really remember their names), and I hope they had a good time as well. The plan for this meet is the same as usual, free BBQ, tech session with their senior tech, door prizes, and a cruise at the end.

We are having a CT subaru meet on the 7th of next month which should be pretty big. Last meet was 50-60 cars +. Check out if you guys or we can merge the two meets and have one big subaru meet. The link below is our Danbury, CT may 7th at 4:30pm meet. I know yours is in Webster Mass which is pretty far for alot of us. What do you guys think about the CT meet or merging these meets?

Its a yearly thing for us NE SVXers. So I'm not going to miss it.

Jay, that's not a call I can make. I have absolutely nothing to do with the planing or execution of this meet, this is something Tri-State has been doing for us for years. I'm merely relaying the info. But, I honestly think I can speak for the NE-SVXer's when I say that we're really not willing to move our meet. Nothing against you guys or Danbury, it's just that Tri-State has been really good to our community over years, and we really want to show our appreciation for that this year. Plus, this meet has been a staple of the NE-SVX crew for years. If you wanted to merge with ours at Tri-State, we'd be more than welcome to that. Other than that, I can only say that I hope there's some NESIC member's that are closer to Webster that would like to attend, and that both our meets have a good turnout and a good time had by all.

One of the guys from our site, Namaah, pointed something out I had missed. Our meet at Tri-State starts at 11am. The Danbury meet doesn't doesn't start until 4:30. So anyone that what to attend both is more than welcome with us.

We at Tri-State Subaru were wondering, since it is supposed to rain Saturday, if everyone still wants to come, or reschedule?
We do have a very large overhang (canopy) to park some cars, and ourselves (and the food!) but does the rain matter to you guys? If I hear back from a few and the response is positive, we'll still do it!
