might buy an svx???

92 with 99k on it.....awd leather, moonroof, power everything.
2300 bucks. feels like it might need a trans in a while, sense a little slippage, is this normal for this car? i've done a lot of reading and searching, also on svx.net and i've found out that this is the only real problem the car has had.
anyone have any input or advice for me?

buy it and swap in a manual

i've heard about the manual swap.....how much does that sort of thing cost?
i can't do anything mechanical.....i sell cars, not fix them lol
any help?
