Default Can Anybody Post Pics of Their Modded Stock Injectors?

I have a set of modded blue injectors. The cutting-off of the cap was not done too smoothly. The tip looks fine (looking at the part where the fuel comes out of. From the side, however, it looks hacked. The grinding wheel cut into the head of the injector.

I am wondering if these are good to use. I would not think that the whole end part has to be smooth, but I'd rather ask.

I nkow what you're talking about... when I let one of the fellow NASIOCers try the mod with me there, he cut the micro weld and instead of grinding the weld he cut intot he injector head as well. I wonder if he ended up using that one just alright.

Or not, my cameras battery is low and isn't focusing really good, but the sides of mine aren't perfect.

I have pictures saved from when I did mine. They were taken by nhluhr. Maybe you can PM him or something and see if he'll send them to you. I'd do it but some people are weird about that stuff and he has them watermarked.

These are the 3 "Good" injectors. At least, I hope that they are good. What do you guys think?

Jesus christ who modded those... you only have to GRIND the weld, not cut into the injector.

So, what, are you saying that I would not make a good rabbi?

My question is- will they work? I mean, does the mangled part just sort of hang there, or does it fit into something that seals? The piston on the top should still work, right?

omg!!!!! i modded my injectors and i was very carefull. for someone to make it look like that they must have really hammered on them. i would not install them for fear of the tip breaking or sprouting a hole or possible cutting the injector o-ring when installed. try to find someone selling stock injectors and mod them yourself so that you know the work is good. its not hard to do.
