Entry level game testing looking for car FANATICS
Hi there, my name is Ty and I was just checking around here to see if anyone is interested in gaining entry level software testing experience. I am posting here because the folks here are who my hiring managers are targeting.
If you are a car FANATIC or in other words you have in-depth knowledge of how cars work and how their engines work please contact me. What I mean by this is you have intimate knowledge of things like lsd, suspension, engine construction and car manufacturers. Ideal candidates will be people who are passionate about cars and are interested in entry level software testing. If this sounds like something you may be interested in or if you know a friend who needs a job please contact me. The job is in the Seattle/eastside area. Thank you for your reading this, I read the rules and didn't see anything about posting job threads.

Hi, Ty, welcome to the NWIC. While there may not be any rules specific to job threads, we do have an Official NWIC Employment Thread that would probably be the best place for this. I'm sure a mod will be along to move it if they care enough.
Are you with a contract agency, or is this a direct hire position? |

thanks red monkey! I appreciate it. Well its hard to find people just because most people don't say how much they love cars on their resumes but for this position it is critical.

Based on Ty's verbage, I'm going to say this is specifically contract game testing. My question is which Agency Ty represents, and which publisher/studio the placement would be at.

I've been working as a sound designer for Microsoft Game Studios for the last little bit, and am getting ready to go on my 100 day break from my contract. Curious as to how long the contract is, what publisher/developer its for, and how long you are looking for. I know the testers here at MGS are on 3 week contracts. I could definitely use something to soak up some of my time off. Franchises I've worked on include: Halo 4 Forza 4 (car audio tuning....making the cars sound like they should!) Forza Horizon (same deal as above) Fable:Journey and plenty others. Unless the contract is for MGS or Turn10 I should be golden to take a short contract. |

Is this full time? I already have a day job but may be interested in moonlighting a couple days a week if I like the project.
