I noticed the stock map has timing retard with a higher iat. This seems appropriate but the offset seems exaggerated more than it should. Has anyone ever experimented with these to get a more accurate adjustment table? The stock map adjusts up to 8 degrees at high temps while I saw a stage 2 only take away 1 degree at high temps. Again, the stock ecu would increase timing at colder temps.
For instance, heatsoak will dramatically raise the iat but the true temp at the tb is likely not much different. Anyone willing to share any experience in tuning this timing compensation parameter?
Thanks.
