issues to look for on 1996 Legacy wagon w/105k miles?
friend of mine is looking to do a straight trade in at a dealership for a '96 legacy wagon (4EAT) with a hair over 100k miles on it.. any serious issues with these cars? anything to look for? they're offering her a straight trade on her 1999 Dodge Intrepid w/70k miles..
opinions? i know there must be a FEW subaru guys in here..

Make sure it has wheels.
Serriously, ask in the legacy forum. The only things I say is ask about the headgasket, check the windows for being sealed correctly, and normal car stuff. |

if it was a manual....it would be a good deal so long asi t has a 2.2L, it will over 200k with proper maint.
4eat though, over 100k...not so good. Jay |

the only difference between OT and the tech forums is:
tech forums: weed through 15 posts with misinformation to get 5 good replies. OT: weed through 15 posts of girls with shaved eyebrows, ppl making fun of you, srt-4 references, street racing posts, and wtlw, to get 5 good replies. |
