How does the brake bias kit work? and who makes it? I'd love some more details on that!

That's awesome! I like the sound of that. The only kits i've seen before hand eliminated the brake booster which i wasn't too fond of necessarily.

So... Here we go again....

First order of the day was to weld in the battery mount.

Mounted at an angle with AL case.

JDM meth tank brackets were modified and welded up.
This provides a flat mount for a future divider plate

And those fancy mounts !!!
This should clear the fuel pump access cover.

Now.. here is the fancy layout of the "designer" trunk.

And another view...

All plays nice with the spare.

Baby oil cooler got installed.

Last but not least... Fancy steering wheel switches...
Now I only need to pick a steering wheel that I like.

Ok...

The day started with final bumper mount work.

And the other side as well..

Bottom part was fabbed to cover the bumper.

Next up was more weight shaving...

More door "work" was performed....

All this netted a healthy harvest of .5-.7 lb...

Few mysterious circles appeared in the engine bay...

A roof vent bracket was welded up as well. Not the prettiest thing but i guess it needs to be there.

Finally the new straps were tested...

We are almost ready to start gluing the panels !!!!!!!

What kind of roof vent do you have? Always thought it was 'just' a hole with the unit poppet/ glued in...at least mine is (got the one from GetPrimitive) But the Type-r version doesn't require a special bracket as well?

Its a jdm gc8 roof vent.

Something like this...

Mine does require the bracket.
I think sometime between 1995-1996 they didnt include the bracket.

Finally .. after 2 years of waiting/work time has come...

Yes.. the left fender has been glued...

Here is some prep-work..

Seam sealed and painted.

A little warmup for the 3 minute epoxy working time !!!

... and we are off..

30 min clamp time.

All glued up..

2nd fender didnt get glued due to the fact that this arrived a bit late..

Last but not least... first coat of "hello kitty hair" was applied to both sides of the engine bay..
