Questions about 15' vs 04' downpipe fitment

Will the newer fit the later? Just the downpipe not the cat back part.... 04 is a 2pc vs 1pc 2015? Correct? I found a smokin deal on header/uppipe/downpipe. I can cut and weld if needed.

Not a direct fit to GD chassis, even if STi. Definitely not if it's a WRX.
BUT if it is from an STi (same downpipe as since 08) you might be able to get away with cutting some pipe out of it, since you mention you're willing to cut & weld. Supposedly the same flanges & angles, just too long, per this thread: https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho....php?t=2892108

Its from a 17... oops STI. Mine is an 04 wrx .

"Cobb down pipe, headers and uppipe unknown. 11k miles . Lease was over. Removed from 2017 STI Subaru. All 3 parts for 280$"
