Default Stupid Lug Nut Questions

Hello everyone. I have a set of Enkei RPF1 wheels on order for my winter set (17x8, fwiw) for my 2012 STi. I want to buy some fancy lug nuts because the stock ones are kind of boring and I like the "tuner" nut's potential to reduce paint damage during installation thanks to being narrower.

I was ready to order these Muteki lugs from RallySportDirect but first I thought I would shop around... another site told me that the bevel on the end is only suitable for "tuner" wheels and they're no good for factory wheels. Huh?

Will they work on Canadian market Enkei factory wheels and aftermarket RPF1s?

Thanks.

Oh, second question: anyone know of a good Canadian place that sells them or the McGard spline ones?

the other site isn't giving you specific information for the make and model that you drive.

Subaru (as a manufacturer) uses 60* conical seats for their wheels. "Tuner lugs" (such as the muteki's that you linked) use this exact same seat.

I love my muteki's, the SR48's extended open ended. They've been probably the best lugs ive ever owned.

Thanks - that's exactly what I needed to know.
