This is ridiculous. I blew my oil seals on my turbo and was referred to nasioc to get a used one. Stuff like this makes me very leery

I know sdmideas personally and i know for a fact that he does amazing engine building work. His personal race car is out at thunder hill race ways running lap after lap with ZERO motor issues. I feel like this cranberryumyum just scammed my friend for a motor which he has not shipped back at all and $2000+ because of one nasioc transaction with cards well played by the buyer. Sdmideas could have not lost his 2000 dollars but nothing could be proven because of nasiocs PM system that does not keep more then 70+ messages at one time. Also stating that the bearings were not new is not true considering that the bearing film is clearly still on the bearing. Also his ring gap choice is his build spec, you dont like it, then buy a quality motor from AXIS racing lol Oh wait...

You may want to remind the virtuous Sinclair "Sdmideas" that he forgot to ship me an engine. Sounds like a legit business person.
Pretty damn sure a photo by photo teardown with clear evidence of deceit and falsification on the sellers part is impossible to deny with a ****ty "I know him he's a good dude" message. Oh and the part that he never shipped me a motor, or the parts he owes me from the build. There is good news, that PayPal reimbursed me fully and is pursuing him. |

Pictures don't lie. And you are ignoring the evidence presented to you and blindly advocating someone who has well over $7,000 in mine and jbulls's money, not to mention $3,500 of FedEx's money he has pocketed. And he sent a na pump.

Just read all this... wow scary
I need a motor too... But i think i will pay the xtra money to build one, rather then having some douche take my hard earned money. I wish you two the best in getting all of your money back. I hope he has to sell that porshe to pay his legal fees, or he sits in jail for awhile-he surely deserves it! |

the seller is still not banned, lawyer is still fighting with chase and paypal on my transaction because i was two days outside their 30 day fraud policy when i filed, and i paid another ~$2000 to get the motor assembled correctly. does that pretty much cover it?

yup. paypal refunded me after seven months of fighting.
are the nasioc moderators sitting on their thumbs? this is not a "possible scammer" this is a guy who scammed two members out of felony-sized amounts of money and you are doing nothing but changing his caption. |

just a friendly reminder that people capitalize on our enthusiasm as enthusiasts to make a buck. be wary with your up-and-coming tax checks before you go through what myself and jbulls93 did for the past year. still not going to do anything about th seller nasioc? didn't think so.

Clearly people are imbeciles for even dealing with a user with a blatant tag of "potential scammer" under their name.. I'm sorry to hear of your transaction cranberry, have other's post about being scammed and maybe this douche will get banned after all.

He has screwed a kid out of a low-mile block that ended up coming back to the buyer with different block numbers, and since this guy isn't a real shop, formal complaints can't be filed. There are also numerous other smaller claims that i do not have specific details on. I do not have a Facebook, or I would post in the group myself. Is anyone a member on that group that can post this thread? Sinclair is apparently pretty active on that forum. |
