Default 2005 2.5i wagon - compatible tran swap for 5 spd

My factory 5spd has decided to take a dump at 130k and due to covid parts are practically unavailable to rebuild it. Soooo...is there a six speed that will swap in directly to replace the existing 5 speed? or perhaps a stronger version of the 5 speed that is a bolt in swap? In case you can't tell I'm looking for the least expensive option that will get the car back on the road reliably and possibly with better performance too.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that some transmissions have a 1:1 ratio in the transfer case and others use some other ratio...but I dont remember specifics. Any help with this would be appreciated. Its my daily driver and it has been dead since right after thanksgiving....HELP

most economical and quickest options is probably just to swap out the trans with a used unit and call it a day.

PMP Auto groups has a handful of impreza manual transmissions available

it appears they have something that might work...have to check some numbers and see but at first glance it seems they have what I need. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it very much!

it looks as if they may have 2 transmissions for a 5speed manual. Give them a call though, good group of people working there. I suggested them because they are somewhat close (eastcoast) and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them
