![]() I think his comment was geared towards those who were hoping for a hatchback variant of the WRX or those who didn't care for the appearance of the sedan. I think this car will be great competition. I've got my heart set on either one of the twins as I've realized I have zero need for 4 doors anymore now that my wife has the bigger car.

![]() Yes, those ones exactly are the more desirable ones, even from just a design standpoint.

![]() That particular Abart is approximately 1,000 lbs lighter than an Impreza while making almost 30 more horsepower. SUCH PERFORMANCE!

Well, I think the Legacy gets 180+ Anyway, my porky 3700 lb Cadenza gets to 100kph quicker than that "performance" Abarth My 0-60 is 6.1 secs, so 0-100kph would be maybe 6.3, vs 6.7 for the Abarth. It would take me on the corners though. |

You are cherry-picking data. Car and Driver has your Cadenza at 6.7 seconds. The Fiat Abarth convertible with the 160hp 1.4T and automatic transmission, also measured by Car and Driver, was 6.9 seconds. Basically the worst version of the 500 Abarth is neck and neck with your point of reference. There are too many different ways to measure 0-60 that they really at least need to come from the same source. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...c-test-review/ https://www.caranddriver.com/kia/cadenza |

According to zero-to-60 times, the 2014-16 shows 6.2, and the '17+ shows 6.5 or 6.6 https://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicl...-60-mph-times/ |

![]() So you're saying that for "Fun to Drive" factor, you'd take a Cadenza over a Fiat Abarth Competizione?

![]() I thought it sounded pretty ok for what it is. Or at the very least the company cares enough to try to make a small I4 sound aggressive.
But uhhhhhh ok. lol |

(and, honestly, my Cadenza is a pretty fun car - it's no WRX, but it's quite sporty for a FWD near-luxury, full-size sedan) Last edited by Sub!eDr!ver; 01-23-2022 at 05:59 PM. |

![]() The number of cylinders is irrelevant. To dismiss it because if cylinder count is ignorant. I am a mechanical engineer as well and the amount of engineering in the engine is more important than the number of cylinders. Just like there are good and bad FWD cars there are good and bad three cylinder engines
