It's a departure - many cars today are very 'designed'. This doesn't have scoops, winglets, spoilers, vents, etc. Heck, even a modern Camry has fake-ass wheel well/brake/diffuser 'vents'. I'm digging the clean-ness. |

![]() The grille is literally just a rectangle opening. Is that the best they could do?
The side profile looks good, but the front needs work. |

![]() Looks narrow and tall from some angles. IMO it's a bit underwhelming as a totally rectangular grill opening and teardrop headlights aren't exactly cutting edge design.

![]() It really is the perfectly rectangular (and tall) grill that’s throwing me off. It’s definitely distinctive looking in the same way the remake of the VW Bug was.
I think I’ll need to see one in person to decide if I like it. The back looks good though - like a modernized 300zx. |

![]() I like it! I think it’s a design that will definitely grow on me as I start to see them. That yellow is awesome.

![]() I didn’t realize how flared those rear quarter panels are. That’s a really muscular rear end.

![]() The grill...
Im really curious about the grill insert. you can see some clever work going on inside and the top portion mimics the rear end. I honestly like the insert but feel that it should be brightened a bit. Then again ever shot hides the insert.. Wonder if this was done on purpose to drive conversation. |

![]() Also, that low sloping rear window/hatch is begging for a wing or duckbill of some sort. I think the nismo version of this will be good looking.

![]() The gaping rectangular grille is the worst part, but otherwise I really enjoy the design that pays homage to past models.

![]() I'm not a fan of the rectangular grille, but I get it. The 240z also had a large rectangular grille shape, but the size is broken up by the bumper beam that cuts across it.

![]() I think it looks great! It definitely looks like a Z, which i'm guessing is harder to do than it seems. Basing that statement on how a lot of the other concepts, and magazine renderings might have looked alright, but looked like something else (F Type, C9 front, etc..). I think it looks like a Z AND it looks pretty good. I'm sure it will be more dramatic in person.
Either way, we better get used to whatever they give us because we're going to have it for 15 years! (JK) |

![]() I absolutely love it. I think the headlights are a little "wimpy" for lack of a better word, but i'm betting it'll look good in person.
Rear reminds me a bit of my dads old 200sx back in the day. Man, this is a 2-seater I could see myself buying if i fully commit to mid-life crisis at some point. |

![]() At this point, idk what people even want out of Japanese sportscars. There's already so much bitching about this thing and the way it looks. I don't get it. They got way closer to the s30z than I thought possible and it looks really clean imo

![]() The original looked like it borrowed styling from the Jaguar E-Type; widely considered one of the top 10 most attractive cars of all time.
This car looks like it borrowed styling from the F-Type. It seems to me like they didi a good job making it an evolutionary step. Huge props if they keep it close to that interior with the triple gauge cluster and e-brake lever. interior door handles need to go. We can work with this. I think people largely want a sports car icon to retain most of the important characteristics in each new generation. Porsche gets mocked for this, but its a winning formula. So glad it isn't a crossover. |

![]() If they can refine that grill opening a bit and maybe recess the rear taillamp and filler panel applique to give it some depth (the rear looks like a RC car lexan body with a taillamp sticker to me), I think it's perfect. Now, all we need is a new RX7.
