Yeah the notorious 2nd gear.Mine went out to. I broke it in half. I was replacing the tranny and when i drained the tranny fluid 2 chunks of second came out with it. I think it was because of the hills in San Francisco even though i babyed it and probably because am running a Stage 4 fmic turboxs. I replaced it with a used tranny and put in a centerforce clutch and a lighten flywheel and some synthetic fluid. The shifting is easyier and smoother with these two add ons. Also i have hear you double your trannys life by double clutching and rev matching with this tranny. What gear sets will be able to handle 300+whp?

Hey Mcgizzle,

I have a stock gearset available. You'll need to get new synchros for 1st and 2nd for sure. PM me if you are interested. I went to the Ra gearset.
