Thanks for the pics but you didn't really answer my question. From the pic it doesn't look like WRX/STI OEM spoiler... unless you vinyl wrapped it. It still looks good.

Thanks kart racer, after 2.5 years of being on steelies, i couldnt be happier.

I have been looking at the bayson wrx spoiler and possibly trying to find a 08 wrx rear bumper.

Side note- would it be looked down upon if i got a wrx hood? i know they arent really functional, but i love the way they look lol

I've heard of some wrx and sti owners hating on people for having them, But they still accept them. But their only people, and it's your car; so only your opinion matters

I ended up getting the BCs LOL, even though i said i would not (not cause it's bad, just wanted to be different) . But my mechanic had friends that had bc's on STI and WRXs and they said would be the "better bang for the buck" and he hooked it up with them anyways Lol, under a grand for rear extenders and alignment

No problem man, glad someone else can enjoy having new wheels
Cheap route is the bayson r one if you can buy it before they sell out. I saw it for like $245 shipped on eBay once! I would love to have Wrx front/rear bumpers but its all about money and timing.
As for the hood it will flow with the car but its your car so do what you want to it and be happy
Navyseal-cant wait to see you lowered hah. Now it's your turn for new wheels lol

But buying one car and making it look like something else seems a bit foolish to me. It's like buying a Hyundai and making it look like a BMW or whatever.

I can't afford a wrx or the insurance bump currently. I don't want to make people think I have a wrx, I just like the way certain parts look

Im sure your rear windows will get some amount of tint... But yes, I HATE the tint laws, that state "...is meant for enforcement safety", as they signed up for the job, that puts them at life or death situations.

I cant just tint the rears... I need uniformity! ...even though every other car I see has tint all around I just dont wanna take the risk and possible unwanted attention.

Tint them and just pay the ticket when you get it. just think about the interior temps in the summer. The reward greatly outweighs the risk.

I see... What I do, in CA, since i am currently "illegal" tint %, I roll down the windows all the time, and that has worked fine for me.

Also, according to some other subie guys, darker tint has less trouble over lighter tint that is still illegal, as cops may be possibly worried about pulling over someone with really dark tint, that cant be seen through.

Just get 20% in the front. It's light enough to where you won't get pulled over but dark enough to regulate the temperature. Better then having none, I'm running 20%F 50% R

Gonna post a picture of my LOWERED subie under here later :3

EDIT:

My mechanic told me this was a 1.5in ish drop LOL might raise it a little, but I kind of like this

Seriously! That's dumped hah. Your gonna be scraping everywhere lol.
Sidenote- for the tint topic, just do what theoutbackdream does. If anything the cops aren't going to stare at you unless you did something obviously wrong lol
