Should fit WRX/STI, the reverse is true. Shocked you found it loud, with the stock midpipe making anything quiet.

I have it paired to a STI midpipe, would the stock one make that much of a difference in volume? I haven’t had an opportunity to switch them back yet. It’s quieter outside than my old WRX (Sedan) was with a full turboback, but seems to be significantly louder on the inside. Seems like the sound is reverberating and amplified because of the hatch area, very obnoxious sounding.

Tons of different configs with videos for sound
STI midpipe has a smaller resonator than your OEM, which is actually why most people prefer the STI midpipe. The WRX midpipe has no resonator and is very loud with lots of drone inside. https://www.subaruforester.org/vbull...thread-459809/ Last edited by aggie113; 01-26-2019 at 08:19 PM. |
