Default Oh snap! The car I have been looking for is for sale!

Should I go for it?

http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...&car_year=1992

It is not really that bad of a drive to pick it up, so that is no concern. I don't think the electrics on my Probe will hold up for the winter. My gas guage and cooling fan don't work and I don't want to put any more money into it.

Heh. Go for it. It's the big brother of my car (even though the little brother is quite a bit larger...and he is actually a she...I think she eats too much)

stiguy -- that was my first car (10 years ago), and I still miss it. Sigh.

But seriously, if you ever use the expression "oh snap" again I'll beat you with your own limbs.

Hope you get the SE-R!

One more comment: the SE-R rocks in the snow with a good snow tires (light weight, FWD, limited slip diff). I remember being one of the only cars on the road in the BIG blizzard we had around here in, what, '96 I think? I had such a blast that day.

DAMN, I MISS THAT CAR!

It is the first time I have ever used it, I hink it is quite annoying too!

Now I just have to convince the old man to let me buy it...

Speaking of the old man, I took my dad to the Nissan dealership after I'd decided I wanted the SE-R (he was going to help me pay for it). Not knowing diddly about cars, he asked why I couldn't just get "a nice Tercel or something."

Go find a pic/some info on a '92 Tercel. You'll have the same reaction I did 10 years ago.

What, like a blown headlight?

I'd love to get an old SE-R. They're so much fun, and they run forever...
