Default Transfering tune to different car?

I've tried to search for an answer without any success. I have an 07 and 12 WRX, both with Accessports but with different mods. I'm planning on taking the 12 back to stock and swap the turbo and 1000 injectors over to the 07. If I copy the tune from the 12 over to the AP for the 07 model, can I load it to the ecu? This would only be for the purpose of starting it up to check for issues and being able to drive it to my tuner. What I'm asking is there anything in the tune for the 12 that would make it incompatible with the 07 ecu? The turbo and injectors are the main difference between the 2 cars.

The AP will only flash tunes that are meant for the same year, make, and model. Your AP will recognize your car as a 2007 WRX and will not flash a map meant for a 2012 WRX. If you have Accesstuner Race you can probably adjust it in there, but as far as transferring tunes it wont work. You'll be able to marry the AP to the new car but the map will be greyed out and wont flash.

Bummer, but thanks for the answer. I kind of assumed it wouldn't work, but worth asking.
