Have you tried using a patch kit then reinflating them?

Whatever piece of equipment you personally own is the problem.

My power just went out for like 5 seconds. No flickering, just like hitting a light switch. Brownouts?

Internet congestion is a bitch. People that work on a computer are all at home on VPN, running over their company’’s DIA’s. Kids home bored, all day on the net. + all the normal phone addiction. + all the cord pullers. + all the gamers. Carriers are slammed. Feel for the guys in the CO’s and POP’s. We will see mo’ outages. Telcos and MSO’s can only handle so much.

I had that happen Tuesday. Power blinked for maybe 500ms... enough that some electronics couldn't hold up the interrupt with the caps in their power supply.

But it also borked some neighborhood piece of Comcast equipment and it took them about 40 minutes to get it going again.

Fortunately I had my company tablet with a mobile data plan and was able to keep going during the outage (I was in the middle of a 4hr call).

Last night around 6pm both TV & internet went out. They didn't have it fixed until after midnight. I was getting tired of running upstairs to keep power cycling the modem and router.

I've noticed people who can't figure out how to use their laptop or tablet for IP calls end up dialed in on their personal cell phones or home phones...and sound terrible. I've found the IP calling to be much more reliable.

i'd been having interwebs issues that hopefully are gone, knock on wood. it only took two trucks rolled out, and replacement of everything short of digging up the drop from the pole.

i've got a 4g verizon SIM in one of my routers that i've been thinking about turning back on... but after the last power outage my vlans got borked and i'm too lazy to fix them. with my luck i won't notice an outage till i get hit with $2000+ verizon bill. currently running through about ~2TB/mnth, since i started watching.

i could probably expense the extra cost if i went through and fixed my ****, or i could just hotspot it off my "work" phone and not worry. we'll see.

and don't get me started with open mic's...
