Default splitter for ssautochrome tmic on 03 wrx

I looked through a lot of posts and didn't find any that really answered my question. I have an ssautochrome tmic and not really sure what to do about a hood splitter or anything to direct air flow across the intercooler. I was looking at the one on rallispec.com but I can't find a picture or many posts about it. Anyone running this tmic with suggestions or pictures. A DIY would be just as good as another splitter. I don't have a STI scoop yet, but one is coming soon.

I have the same set-up, there really isn't a good existing piece you can throw in there. I found no issues not running a spiltter (so far), but do plan to mod my stocker to fit properly using my STI scoop.

I have the 2002 JDM STi scoop/spliter/duct seal on my US STi IC and it seals up vary nice I would recomend it over just having straight up nothing. I have a buddy with a Forester XT running the STi top mount with the JDM scoop(they are the same as 02-03 WRX/STi.) and he just cut and folded back his stock splitter, I wonder how well a XT splitter/seal would work on a bugeye given if they can fit up. But for the price and effort your looking at $150+40 for the splitter/duct seal, and youll know where that air is going.
