I drive with the vent set the "fresh air" all the time (unless I am behind a smelly vehicle, near a farm, behind someone smoking a cigar, etc.) so I don't expect to get a lot of condensation building up in my car. However, I have had what appears to me to be abnormally high amounts in my OS. So much so that when the back window defrosts I have water running down the windows.
Anyway, I went over the Barnes and Noble at the weekend, and when I parked I noticed a stream of water run down my windshield. I though nothing of it. When I got back into my car I noticed some water on my dashboard. I then realized that the water didn't run down the outside of the windshield, rather the inside. Then, a day or two later, I felt a drip on my arm, which then led to the discovery of water pooling dripping from the map light enclosure. I could actually see a little water pooling withing the enclosure.
Now, call me crazy, but I have NEVER seen condensation buildup to the point that you get POOLING in the light fictures! The vent sounds like it is opening and closing, so I am a little stumped here. I took it the dealership, and they checked it out, but couldn't see anything. They asked me about the vent setting, and I told them. They had no answer, but said they could schedule me in some time. I told them I may do that if the problem persists.
Has anyone else experienced this?
