Thanks for checking off the Saskastchewan part. Well this winter we had 4 blizzards with the lowest temp being -61 with the wind chill.
My Baja is Silver with front bra and spiked licence plate covers on the back and front. I have a private plate saying Mukker and brings the package together nicely. Rear cargo cover, box extender and sunroof deflector as well of course. I am in the process of seeing if I can get a Momo shifter knob to replace my leather shifter on it. Mine is a leathered up 5-speed as you can only get it an Auto or 5-speed with leather. The bummer is that the Turbo version is not available in Canada - try and figure out that one. My mate has one in Yellow. I want more horsepower so I am looking to see what I can do as well as get a fiberglass (same colour) lowrider for the back the problem is they are $2000.00 + tax CDN. What a ripoff!!!! Well back to work and I'm glad I found you guys and pictures to follow. Cheers |

Couldn't help but chime in on this thread. I'm originally from Assiniboia, SK and moved to the states a few years back. I do miss the area greatly and hope to be back someday. Odd that the turbo isn't available in Canada. Think it may have to with a lack of interest or petrol prices? Oh, and welcome. |

dave_t from Canada knows of, or is selling, a 03 turbo baja for sale in Canada. Low km's on the clock. Maybe 03 was the only year? I dunno. A weird mystery. I'm under the impression he's in Onterio, but I can't say for certain.

The only way that there is a turbo in Canada would be one brought in from the states or he put on a turbo kit. They were and are not availible here. Sucks but true - I am going to try and find this guy because if his is a turbo I'm going to buy it (depending on colour).

Welcome aboard, I am originally from Canada myself (Ontario -- guelph, near toronto).
We test drove a 03 non turbo 5 speed last year, and liked the ride and everything but would not get it because it just didnt have enough get up and go. Come 04, and I decided I wanted the turbo, test drove it and the rest is history... |
