ps- graduated college 8 years ago and need to find a job, and I like long walks on the beach, haha!

... what's with everyone moving here as the heat sets in? It's like reverse snowbird-ism.

at least it'll be subarus doing the speed limit instead of lincolns and caddys doing 10 under.

You mean road hazards. Those + snowbirds =/= cars. I got a more performance oriented car for the very reason that I wanted something that I could use to more safely DODGE them with rather than a 170 chp 4spd AT Forester.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome, I know it's gonna be hot, but it's dry heat, right!? ;/

People say that and I'm like yeah sure 115 is 115, I don't care how dry it is!

Anyways, I'll def be checking out the local meet, got coilovers and sways waiting to go in as soon as I get there, gonna need some darker tint too.

It really is. I moved out here from the Mid-Atlantic last year. I'd take 110 and 5% humidity over an 85 degree day in Virginia ANY day. It's a cliche, yeah, but it's a true cliche.

r0bman, that's why I stayed out here instead of moving back to VA where the rest of my family is.

What part of VA?

There are parts I miss. But they're few and far between.

I was born and raised in Salem. It's in the Southwestern region of the state, right next to Roanoke.

I know Salem quite well I went to Radford for undergrad. New River Valley = my favorite corner of the state. Maybe my favorite corner of the East Coast.
