Thanks guys. Yep golds for sure look good.

Cruised around today dialing in my Air/fuel again. Ran a stock 19' Sti for a few gears she kept up surprisingly.

Appreciate it LastBreeze. I have a few upgrades I want to do still. Beef up front and rear brakes. The fronts will be getting bigger rotors/calipers/better brake pads and the rears I want to convert to disk. I have a spare transmission with LGT and STi gears with matching rear diff I'd like to install. We'll see if i have enough time.

Which calipers are you considering? STI Brembo? FHI WRX/STI red calipers? Wilwood? I think Power Stop makes Brembo-style calipers. They're on RockAuto, Amazon, etc. Primitive Racing has the FHI kit.

I've considered disc conversion for my Impreza, but I don't understand it enough for Subaru application. Never seen it done.

I'm going with Power Stops for the fronts. The rears will be an 03 wrx disk conversion I have a complete rear end for it.

Never had anybody sing praises to my car until today haha.. I let 2 ladies use the crosswalk at a Walmart and 1 of them busted out singing a random song about my car then gave a thumbs up at the end lol.

15 years ago that car would've been the focus of weekly car meets. It's crazy how much has changed. It's an incredible car that many won't appreciate.

Sad but very true statement.. for me Subaruing is an escape that I don't think I'll ever leave from. There's something about driving a well done-up subaru like the 1 I have. It may not be the fastest Subaru but I really don't care as that's not my goal. I'm just trying to enjoy the platform in my own way.

I see more and more Subaru drivers give the old school suby deuces which is refreshing to see again. I'd like to see a Suby cruise to Whittier tunnel 1 of these days and perhaps I get to link up with other turbo GCs in the community.

I feel that. I've been in my own lane with my Subies for the past decade now. I just enjoy driving it and modding it as money and time permits.

The Subie Wave made a nice comeback finally.

Keep on keepin on, bro!

Golds for summer. Gave her a wash yesterday took pics today.

Purchased an Amazon smoke machine. Tested intake and exhaust found no leaks. Replaced oxygen sensor for a refresh and she really liked it. Between all the micro leak weld repairs and replacing all exhaust gaskets she purrs really good now. Next is to increase boost.

Here's what it looks like with tinted side windows (50% fronts, 20% rear quarters) but unfortunately air bubbles cropped up the next day. The idea was to diy the sides and schedule the rear glass with CCA. Unsure what went wrong there were no bubbles when the tint was getting installed we hard carded pretty hard so decided to remove everything that was just installed. I think I'll just schedule with CCA haha.

When I purchase cars here in AK, I've always gone to CCA. It's been a few years but they've always provided great work.
