Too bad you live pretty far in NY haha.. Even though my car isn't that cool :/
I have a ton of pictures to go through, but I just got home from driving from FL to CT so I'm pretty burnt out

Yeah, maybe that's the not right word, but it made sense to me. You could to it with multiple polarizers on the lens or do it in post like I usually do.

I just got me a Canon Rebel XSi. Im a noob when it comes to photography. It came w/ the kit lens 18-55mm. I plan on getting the nifty fifty lens. I work in the Rolex Grand Am series and would like to take some great car pix as well as some action pix, what lenses do you guys recommend that will be decent for an amateur and not break the bank?

Insanely jealous. You will be ok with the kit lens for a little while but you will struggle in low light. The 50 is a great lens for the money and will work in the pits but obviously you loose the zoom capability. I used my 18-55, 50, and 55-250 when I went to the Rolex race this year at Limerock. I plan on upgrading all of those at some point but it got the job done.

Truth, if you want to just cover the activities outside of race cars going by ie. paddock, still cars... ect your kit lens would be plenty good. But it's an addicting hobby and expensive one at that. Soon you'll want a bunch of L lenses... happy shooting. |

Thank you....the shots are actually one frame shots with just a little bit under a second exposure. 0.4 second to be exact with an aperture of 3.2 using a 50mm.
Thanks INKMAN |

What time of day were these taken? It seems like you have very little glare for it being pretty bright out. Nice and clean looking.
