I'm sure somebody makes them. Blistien or Eibach makes some spacers.
But I asked that same question to a guy at Rallispec.com. And he advised me that spacers are only good for show cars that are not driven. They aren't safe for everyday driving. You'll be better to mod the suspension and/or get wider wheels.
But I'm sure somebody else here can give a more concrete and technical response.

You should be able to get spacers at your local auto parts store. I know PepBoys carries them

Using spacers just to make the wheels 'stick out a little more' is senseless, IMO. A spacer wide enough to make a visual difference would require new lugs as well, and could cause some other performance/wear related issues.
Your car is a lot happier without the 'hood' look...I promise.

Not to mention you will rub your fenders. And then there's all the potential problems that come along with a lower offset: wheel bearing failure included.

I don't think wheel bearing issues would really happen if you used a conservative size like 5mm or so. I'm likely going to be getting a set of H&R's to clear STI brembos

I agree, just throwing it out there. But *many* people around here believe that a 48mm or lower offset will make an Impreza burst into flames, so you never know.

I, personally, would use wheels down to +42....but I'd rather buy the right wheel in the first place than buy/use spacers.
