Default 2011 2.5i hatch

Hi all,

I just joined this forum and thought I should introduce myself. I am a new owner of an 2011 2.5i hatch premium in dark metallic grey that only had 6k miles. I was in the market for an AWD car and have always liked the hatch body from 08+. I paid $17500 for the car which is a CPO that has 7yr/100k warantee. I will be looking forward to everyones insight and also sharing my process of making my new ride my own.

Also, how do you guys think I did with my deal at $17,500?

Thanks

Welcome to the community!
That's a pretty good deal considering I paid about $20,200 for my 2011 with less than 10miles on the odometer as well as the basic 3yr/36,000 mile warranty that just expired yesterday

Debadged the rear, got her hand-washed, switched to summer wheels, applied my decals. Happy camper.

(Center caps weren't on the car yet--I'm a tad OCD about the stars all being level.)

Hey s1eepR, getting ready for spring now that we are getting some nice weather?

Nice rims, did you paint them or got them that way?

Haha yea. I had fun in the mountains with my winter set up. The only thing I don't like about the coming warm weather is the bugs. Garden snakes are already committing suicide on the driveway.

Thank you sir. They are WRX wheels, they come in gunmetal. I painted them Sunburst Gold Metallic and clear coated them.

what brand and model headunit does everyone have for their 2.5i's? Is there one specific headunit that is better than another?

Pioneer avh-p2400bt. Not the top of the line, but much better than the stock pos.

Pioneer x930bt is what I have and basically what the Canadian spec models have. I have had it over 2years now and cannot complain. GPS, double din touchscreen, EQ adjustability, all of which match my needs perfectly.

BSP, car looks great! If I didn't already have a lowered car in the garage, i'd slam the 2.5i.

I got this last year.. I love it.

Pioneer AVH-P3300BT DVD Receiver
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P330....html?tp=20217

Have the XM radio pod under the seat, and the bluetooth works great.

Discontinued, but newer models are better in some ways, but not as good in others, like line level out, etc..

I've been eyeing the new AVH-X8500BHS. I want it!
