Default 05LGT brake clearance

I have some uninstalled 05 legacy gt front brakes for my 98 legacy gt.

Im looking at getting some sort of aftermarket wheels, and 17" seems to be the best choice.

How do I find out which wheel will clear the massive brakes?

Most/all 17" wheels will clear them. They're not wide like the STI's Brembos, so it's not the same concern.

Okay good to know.

Could I go for pretty much any wheel or do things like offset effect the clearance?

Offset will eventually affect the clearance, but anything that's meant to fit a Subaru will be in the proper range. 7" is the best width for your car, but 7.5"-8" can be done with some fender rolling.

Anything in particular you're looking at?

I ran 17x7.5" Rota Tarmacs +43 and no fender rolling was necessary. I'm lowered on Whiteline Control springs.

FYI.

I'm looking for anything 17" that will look nice on a silver BD.

Probably black, gunmetal, or silver. I'll be looking mostly local unless something catches my eye on here. Do you have something?
