The Invidia Q300 is a great exhaust that makes great power. My only complaint is that when it's new the exhaust is quiet compared to most but as you put miles on it the baffling seems to burn out on it and the exhaust gets louder at idle on up. Anyone else have a Q300 that got louder over time?

I installed mine about 3 months ago and I've noticed it does keep getting louder as time goes on. It was defiantly a lot more quite when i first installed it but loving it now it's starting to settle in.

I have the Q300 catback on my 16 STi (no other mods) and the exhaust isn't loud at all. I did notice it get slightly louder within the first few months after installation. There isn't much drone either, but you can't hear your exhaust if you're at the racetrack with the windows down.
Overall a nice choice for someone looking for a little more noise than stock while not being obnoxiously loud. |
