08 wrx w/ 18g setup?
i dont know if this should be here(and i apologize in advance if it doesnt) but i would really like to see someone with an 08 wrx(5 or 4 door, doesnt matter) with an 18g setup. i want to go with this route but wanted to see some others first.

Why not? Maybe some ppl want to have an all around performance car and not just look for peak power.

The OP should go browse through LegacyGT.com as the motors in the 08's and the LGT's are the same. Quite a few people there with 18G+ turbo's. PDX even has a LGT fitment 18G turbo they are selling (along with a 16G).

What's with all the hate of the 18g? The 18G-8cm is a great match for that car, especially on the stock transmission.
You may have to wait a bit to see results from who's done it though, might be a bit early |

yup yup. yeah i was probably thinking it's too early for anyone to do it. all these big shops use the 08 sti or 09 wrx. :/

I agree! The 18G is a great turbo! On a properly tuned car with all the supporting modifications it should spool just like a VF-39/43 but with higher peak numbers and hold to redline much better. I'd opt for the 8cm^2 turbine housing as well.
