My car was finally finished today!! Its an 02. This is my first time posting pictures of my car.

I'm really excited to get it tuned on the 30th @ turbo xs

Sorry if you end up seeing these pictures in a few different threads. I really look forward to going to some local meets and actually meeting you guys in person.

Any feedback positive or negative is appreciated. I'm trying to turn this thing into a show car eventually.

Thanks,
David

Waiting for the new control stalk for the Fusion fogs I retrofitted last week, but wired the fogs up for DRL use in the meantime.

Well it previously made 334whp on 93 with a vf43 @ 23psi. ( turbo xs dyno )

It had a Turbo xs tmic, Iwg, catless up-pipe, Perrin blow through MAF, Turboxs equal length headers, Invidia turboback, built block etc.

I have since added the APS Fmic, 68hta w/ 8cm hotside, IAG up -pipe w/ 38mm EWG. I also have a APS 70mm intake.. waiting for the afta maf hose.

I'm saving up for a 6 speed since i'm on a 5 speed with r/a gears at the moment.

Also keeping the 550cc injectors I had on the previous tune until the trans swap.

I switched up stuff on the car solely based on the fact that I knew I wouldn't be able to drive it for a year.. (freshman in college)

I've seen so many people hating on that turbo, and some have even told me I wont make anymore power than I already did.

I'm hoping for maybe 345whp?? I have no clue what i'll make.. Then again I'm not worried about it because once I get the 6 speed I have everything ready to put on a bigger turbo. ( 20gxt-r maybe )

Sorry for the book I just wrote lol. Just trying to explain my method so I don't get ripped on like last time I posted my mods and aspirations haha.

Front brakes started to sound a bit weird when going from slightly moving to a stop, pulled both pins/shims and lubed them up on both sides, checked caliper bolts to make sure they haven't backed out (I keep those lubed) and put it back together. No more weird brake sound.

Hey all!
I just purchased my 2011 WRX limited hatch about 3 days ago. I'm still paying for the car as I have a loan on the car still, but what mods do you all recommend me getting on my car first. A friend of mine told me not to make any serious mods to my car until I pay it off, but he said short throw shifter, and all weather mats are a must...what do you guys say?

What are your plans for the car? Your location? What are you looking for? Power? Handling? Looks? Comfort?

I live right next to College Park. For right now, until I finish paying off the car, I'm looking for comfort, and Looks. after i pay it off, i will look primarily for speed and upgraded performance. I'm coming from a pickup truck, to a sonata. so my WRX is a huge improvement in all categories. And it's also the first stick shift i've ever owned. I wouldn't really consider these mods, but I was planning on tinting windows, short throw, mud flaps, all weather mats. Is there anything else i should do for now? i'm getting really excited just thinking about everything i'm going to do

Saturday demonstrated counter (rear rotated, front wheels pointed into the turn) throttle steer (more gas equals more slip) on gravel course to new drivers in RX drive school.

The raced the piss out of it on Sunday.

Dropped the car off at IAG. Should be super quick turn around according to Mike and the estimate was actually higher than what they're actually charging! woot!

It's time for a new thread. Whoever starts v3.0 let me know so I can lock this.

It says until the weekend, then it goes bye bye. Got to be nice to the NASIOC servers!
