Is it noisy cruising around or just when you are giving it hell?
I have only experienced ewgs in a large turbo setup when you have to really get on it to even build boost. So it was only obnoxious when you were going hard anyway. But with the standard turbo its building boost straight away even when cruising around. Last edited by Harey; 02-21-2018 at 10:07 PM. |

I've been running my EWG set up since May, I absolutely love it. I've got the Killer B EWG header, MAP intake and MAP catless J, Grimmspeed 3 port, EGR and TGV delete. I've got 10psi springs, and right at 6 psi they just start to open. Hardly noticeable until you build more boost. I'm able to drive around fine without being obnoxious. Here are a couple crappy snapchat vids someone took.

It’s certainly manageable to drive normal around town with out being obnoxious. I’m having having mine plumbed back in to the exhaust to meet my goals. Last edited by scotte30m3; 02-22-2018 at 10:18 PM. |

MAP Catless J to stock Catback and stock mufflers. I did have muffler deletes, but that was just way too loud; Not that the wastegates aren't, but at least you can be quiet if you need to.

I plan on doing a boost activated cut out at the Y-pipe on hobs switch so I can keep it off when I need it to be quiet under load. |
