I am almost in the exact same situation as you, except for that violation.
I was originaly with AllState and they bumped me up from 900 to 1700 a year
I've not switched over to Liberty Mutual and paying 920 along with hundred sth. on Renters insurance.
Give Don at Liberty Mutual a call at 925-778-0204 and say Justin (recent new customer) recommended him.

If your over in the 2pts+ plus territory, no one can beat Mercury insurance.

I went through www.aisinsurance.com to get them.

i got it for $1478 for 6months full coverage, above state limits, rental, $500 deductibles, and student discount. vs up to $2800 with the big companies.

at the time that i got the insurance for $1478, i had 4 points (all speeding), no accidents, 23 years old, male, single, student discount.

good luck

On this coast when I moved down state my ins went down from $145 mo to $105 a month. I moved back up state but still used the other address to keep the lower cost. Finally I needed new cards to I called to change my address, and wouldn't you know it:
1. they found out about a ticket
2. My defensive driving had expired
3. I lost the down south discount

I went up to $170 per month!!

I need to get def driving back!

28, and never had a ticket until 2 years ago.

$105 was reasonable... $170 is crap.

I went from about $1250 every 6 months to $750 every 6 months when I switched to 21st Century Insurance.

21 years old, just me and my car are on the policy. Record is clear now that my huge 4-totalled-car accident and 2 tickets are taken off by time and traffic school. Bully for me.

And my last ticket came off my record 3 days ago

If I was his parents, he won't be even driving a car let alone a RSX-S. I would have made him suffer by taking public transportation everyday til that DUI gets off his record.

man.. kids having it bad these days..

Doolu, good luck finding a cheap insurance premium... really.. if you want cheap auto insurance, you gotta stay clean til you turn age of 25.

good luck bro~
