I have washed my car plenty of times since the install, not only that but I hear it is different when it rains and it has rained a couple of times also, with no leaking. The gasket they give you is really nice and there is no need to cut it like the dude I got my write up from did. I was getting ready to sell it at one point but I figured that I would most likely buy it again to finish off the exterior looks. I am really happy with it. It’s also nice going to a meet or open house and being the only car there with one.

Also, today, I took it through the touchless and it put this "tri-foam" wax stuff on. When I went to shammy it there were black marks on my shammy from where I was pressing down. I'm not sure what it was. I hope it wasn't some chemical reaction with my paint which was then coming off.

Check out autopia.org

The only time I go to the handwash is in the freezing dead of winter when I cant get water through the frozen hose.

I think I'm gonna give em my own microfiber towels when they try to dry the car. Heck I'm thinking of even just paying to use a space indoors to clean the car myself.

Just some pics that I detailed by hand withouta Porter Cable yet...

^BTW that's the refelction off of my car.

Yeah check out that sight for sure. Looks like your doing a good job by hand Magnum, I would stick to that because I would hate for a buffer to mess it all up. I should have got me some Mud Flaps like you a long time ago, and then maybe my ish would look as clean as yours. I know ill be getting a set for this winter.
Weird how you cant see any blue in any of your pics.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I have an EGR lip I'll put on in spring. And living in NYC...no way am I dumping this thing, especially since its my DD.

Lowered on eibach pro kits with kyb/agx struts.

I don't think you see much blue because of the 4star UPP and layers of p21s. When I used the Meg's #26 or colorX the blue came up more. But you can see it better in person. I still haven't been able to capture the blue well in photos especially in those pics.

Hopefully I'll be able to clean up the car this weekend since it's not gonna rain and we get a temp in the low 60s....

Unfortunately it's in winter mode with 3 layers of klasse aio/sg and putting on hopefully 2 more this weekend to protect against the salt.

What wheels are those? they look old school. You and your buddy BOOsti with the white/polished wheels have nice rides.
