Default 06 WRX + vf39 + AP stage II STI

Anyone swapped the stock turbo for a vf39 and tried to run an 06 AP sti stage II map yet? I know we used to be able to do this on our 04 FXT's but was wondering if it is possible on the 06's (wrx). I will be installing my vf39 soon enough and do plan on doing a protune but was curious if the sti maps will work or not. I am more so concerned about the timing of getting the turbo on the car with all the appropriate bolt on mods and then making the 60 mile drive to MachV for the tuning session. I have known of some people driving their fxt all the way to NJ for a tune with a 39 in place and just stayed out of boost for the trip but I am not sure I want to do that just yet. Just trying to think of a safe way that I can drive the car there for the tune without anything blowing up on the way.

I did not realize they had that out already. Hell, no problem then. I can simply load that up and drive to the tuning session with out a hitch! Sweet!

thanks,

You'll also need the STI TMIC to run that Map. Not sure if you've installed one in your car yet...

Got one! Looks like I might be going with a vf22 and having it made into an 1820 as my friend has one lying around.
