2008 Legacy Spec.B
QSM

Default OR: 2008 Spec.B -- Fully built, LOW miles

2008 Subaru Legacy GT Spec.B

$20k firm.

Quartz Silver Metallic paint (QSM)

6 speed manual transmission and LSD rear diff from the factory-- shifts beautifully. Leather/Alcantara heated seats from factory. NAV + 6-disc CD stereo from factory (still works, but NAV is a little outdated)

Fresh built longblock at 42,065 (have paperwork)
Recent oil at 56,750
Recent tune at 56,750 (have dyno sheets)

Currently sits at 57,0xx miles on chassis (it is not a daily driver, but I do put a couple miles on it here and there just so that it isn't sitting too much)

Roughly 15k on engine, roughly 300 miles on the turbo/fuel system.

Tuned in late April by Jarrad at PDXTuning/Superior Soobie & Import, using a Cobb AccessPort on speed density.
The car makes 508whp/457wtq on E85 at 27psi and 423whp/380wtq on pump 92 at 23psi. There is also a low-boost map for E85 (23psi) loaded.

Clean title in hand, no banks involved on my end.
Tags/registration is good through July 2021. I will more than likely be keeping my plates.

The main reason that I am selling it is because I am just looking to start a new project. I've put a crap ton of time, effort, and money into this thing, and I'm just over it. I change stuff up every couple of years, and I'm just at a point where I want to try my luck with something else.

Absolutely no corners were cut with this build -- all high quality parts. Makes safe power and drives like a dream. Fast, handles amazingly, rides smooth, is comfortable to be in.

Interior is stock aside from the Perrin gauges mounted on the steering console, the leather/suede seats are in absolutely perfect condition. The stereo and sound system works perfectly and sounds great-- stock speakers are awesome quality in this car!

The windows are tinted to 25% in the rear and 35% in the front.

There are a few minor door dings on the rear doors, but nothing insane.

I have roughly $25k into aftermarket parts alone in the car. You cannot build a high horsepower Spec.B for anywhere near this price, unless you cheap out and use low quality parts, which I have not done. Everything is to the best standard. At my current asking price, you're getting this thing for less than 50 cents on my dollar.

All custom bits were done professionally, and all welding projects were tig'd by a professional, top-notch welder.

Absolutely NO test drives without cash/cashiers check in hand. No exceptions.

Before you think "this car has been beaten and thrashed on"-- no, it really hasn't. I'm not going to say I've never redlined it or thrown it around a corner or two, but I don't really beat on my car. I want my stuff to last, I don't want to risk it blowing up, so compared to pretty much any other modified car out there, mine is pretty much just driven nicely.

-Factory shifter
-6 quarts of Total Quartz 9000 Energy 5w-40 oil (enough for 1 oil change)
-half a gallon of OE green coolant (pre-mixed with deionized water)
-spanner wrenches for coilover suspension adjustment

Recent maintenance:
-Oil change at roughly 56,750 -- using Total Quarts 9000 Energy 5w-40 and a RX8 Tokyo Roki oil filter (arguably the best oil filter available to use)
-Coolant flushed at roughly 56,750 using OE Subaru green coolant
-Trans + rear diff fluid changed at roughly 53k miles (using Redline fluid)
-Brake fluid changed when the calipers/rotors/pads were done, at roughly 52k miles-- DOT4 fluid used.

CONS:
-The trunk carpet does not fit perfectly. Previous owner ripped the entire trunk out, including the carpet, spare tire, and emergency tools. I found some carpet to put in, but it does not fit perfectly. This never bugged me, so I didn't mess with it. I personally use the spare tire well to store my emergency gear, a can of fix-a-flat, and an air compressor.
-The front tow hook cover is not properly paint matched. It is currently painted grey. A can of professionally matched spray paint would be around $25, so it would not be hard to take care of this. I plan on getting to it, but I can't guarantee I will before sold.
-The trunk was debadged, but the "Subaru" and "Legacy" lettering can still be seen very faintly from sun-fade.

$20k firm.
