Default Discontinued parts

Does "discontinued" status for a part number in North America carry over to other markets? For example, 62761FA011, the door bottom weatherstrip for my coupe, is NLA in the US. Any insight on how I might determine availability in other markets?

Thanks,
Jason

I usually check Amayama.com or JP-Carpart to see if they can still get the piece from the Japan warehouses. You could submit an inquiry on those sites to see if there are some available.

I've had success getting parts that were "No Longer Available" here in US, but were still in stock elsewhere

Thanks for the reply; I appreciate it - and sorry for the slow response. No joy on the weatherstrip, but at least I've learned of a new tool.

Thanks again.
