Default Looking for dealership for airbag replacement

Hey guys,

Anyone have a good experience with getting their airbag replaced through one of our many excellent dealerships?

Thanks in advance.

I'll be getting mine done at Subaru Pacific in the next week or so. The shop foreman Andrew and one of his techs Russel drive subies. I already talked with them about my car because of all the money I put into the motor, I was told to just tell the service adviser that I only want them to touch my car. I also used to work with them so I know they're good at what they do.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in the same situation. When will you be getting the swap done? Please let me know how it goes. I may want to take my car there too.

Thank you, good to know. Will keep them in mind. How long was it before they took your car in after you made an appointment?

Had no issues at Sherman Oaks with mine. They didn't even try to upsell any work.

Had mine done at Mckenna. Scheduled me in the next day. Took half a day. 9.5 out of 10. They left one set of hand prints on my a pillar. But other than that, no rattles or squeeks from the dash.

I would never take my car for anything to Sierra Subaru, that said i took it there for the airbag recall and was pleasantly surpirissed that everything went very smooth, and the tech, Jaime, promised my car would be done later that day, not what i was quoted on the phone (2 days) and sure enough i got the call later that same day. 0 issues with the car or vibrations/rattles and <1 mile was put on the motor.
Was more of a hassle dealing with the loaner they gave me then anything haha.

I would also go to Timmons, I bought my car there and had most of my service done there. I went Pacific because 2 times they were closer until they backed out of a TSB for my car and refused to take any credit for it after the service managers were replaced. I worked as a contractor for Subaru of America by the way. The new service manager at Pacific is a complete dick as well. Sherman Oaks Subaru has also completely screwed me over and pretty much left me high and dry after I was taken there after roadside assistance on a Sunday. I live in Gardena and they wouldn’t provide any sort of transportation back to my house, I’m not joking no rental car no nothing. I called Timmons and they provided me everything I needed to get home. I actually put the manager on speaker phone from Sherman Oaks and had to him explain how ****ed I was, the GM I know through SOA from Timmons ripped him a new one. I made a Fb review if you want to go read it

Appreciate it guys! Will be deciding shortly. Also looking to purchase and install new oem radiator fan assembly at the same time, so I am a bit worried about who to go to since my car is heavily modded. Not sure if I should just get the airbag swap or have them handle both. Decisions, decisions..
