Where is Tracy's? I went to a couple places and they were gonna charge around 100 and honestly its a pretty simple job so I thought that was pretty expensive. Just to cut off a brand new flange and weld on a brand new flange.

Tell him what you just posted, and see what he says. He will probably agree with you. $100 is WAYYYYY out there.

Ok, question for you guys. Are any of you running harnesses in your cars for auto crossing. I am looking at getting one, my only issue is fit. I am 6'8" and I need to find a harness that is going to fit. Riding in other cars with harnesses i have had different issues, Somtime they fit and sometimes I have to hunch down to get my shoulders in. Just wondering if and what harnesses you guys are running. I have looked into the ones on solo racer and they look nice because I don't really want a harness bar and you don't need any modifications to your car if you use there harnesses. I just don't know the length or the comfort of them. Just wondering if you guys had any insite. I guess I could always call them as well.

in my STi, i ran a harness bar. it worked good, but i didnt like letting people ride in the back seat with a big bar to split their head on if i hit the brakes hard.

My buddy Bradley had a harness bar in in Evo and was afraid of the same thing. He bought some of those seatbelt pads and put them on there. I guess you could also use roll bar padding....
