I have a 2012 wrx hatch. This Thursday it goes in for a 3rd warranty trip. The first was transmission issues at 750 miles requiring a 1st and 2nd gear rebuild. 2nd trip in was for a hard start with a cloud of smoke at about 1500 miles, dealer stated it had flooded and keep an eye on it. Now it's going in for the rear seat rattle that started after I put the seat down to haul some long gun cases.
Is build quality really this bad I can expect to need warranty work as often as I change my oil? I don't want to sound likes a whiny ******* but for what I paid for my car, is it wrong to expect better quality?
I do love the car otherwise, it's fun to drive, is good in the snow, gets decent gas mileage and is still pretty practical.
