2010 Subaru WRX 5 Door

So I bought the 2010 WRX on September 25, 2009 from Thousand Oaks Shaver Subaru. Don't ever go there unless you're gonna work with Peter Orgel. Don't even mess around with the Sales Manager. I don't remember her name, but she is *****. Back story to this is I was working a deal with them all week on the last 2009 WRX 5 door in California. The reason for this was because it would have been a 0% interest rate on the loan. I sold the Explorer and took the train up to Thousand Oaks. Peter, my salesman, picked me up and I drove the car and was about 2 minutes from signing the papers and Peter comes back and says the ***** ass sales manager just sold the car to someone else. I was pissed and I told Peter that and he saw it in my face. He apoloized and apologized over and over and suggested a 2010. I was hesitant, but I took it out for a drive, knowing that would drive exactly the same as the 2009, but whatever. The car had some extra **** in it that I didn't wanna pay for that came from the factory and it didn't have stuff that I wanted.

I started working another deal on this 2010. Starting from scratch again. Well to make a long story short, I fenagled the sticker price down to basically be the out the door price... Got to the financial guy where all the loan docs get prepared and made a deal to buy an extended warranty and special shock sensor alarm system if they took 2% off of my approved loan interest. So basically the lower interest rate paid for the extended warranty and alarm system. So after all was said and done I got a 2010 WRX for about $***** with an extended warranty on a 6 year loan at 4.5% interest. Not too shabby if you ask me. And after asking around in my friends and family, they said it was a damn good deal that I was able to work out.

I found the forums after a couple of days and started making friends and finding out about these cars (I searched around on the forums for about 2 weeks before buying the car too, but didn't join at all). I went to my first Pat and Oscar's meet with AllWheelJunkies the first week in October.

After searching, conversing, researching on the forums I started to get the mod bug of course and just wanted to do a bunch of stuff. If you read my intro thread it was a few days after I joined here and I already had a list of things to do... Keep in mind that before buying the car and getting on the forums a couple days later, I had no idea about all this modding crap because quite frankly I never really cared about cars as much as I do now.

Modifications done are pretty minimal and I don't plan to really touch the engine because I don't want to get into reliability issues or warranty issues since I paid good money for the Extended Warranty.
