I think the hood deflector mounts via clips...

Default XPel Film

I just got my new Impreza last Friday and was debating getting the 3M film put on to protect it from rock chips. Has anyone else had it put on or debating it? Will post pictures of my car soon

My marine blue hatch in the Mt Rainier shot above has pretty much the full 3m treatment. Including door edges.
I personally think it looks and functions better than sticking a black chunk of plastic on your hood.
And yes, its pretty much impossible to see in the picture or in person.

I have had the clear bra on another car going on 9years and it has held up well.

Why are you debating whether to clear bra your car?

It's one of the most practical mods for any subaru. I didn't have the money to do so and went on a trip across a few states..... When I got home. ... <yea i was this guy. Had a huge paint chip on the front bumper, and its so visible.

I heard that subaru stopped making the 2012 and are beginning the process for the 2013. Roll-out-date is unknown atm, but rumors are saying some time around the first few months of 2013 due to the upcoming Subaru XV.

They stopped taking new orders on 2012 in April but production didn't stop until this month. There were some dealer stock allocated cars still "in production" that may have been available to convert to an order if everything matched but your dealer should've been aware of the cut off date. Maybe they weren't able to find anything in your color available for your specs. But they should be able to search other dealer stock or "in-transit" vehicles & maybe find you something close. As far as I've heard, pre-orders for 2013 are being accepted starting in August & production will start sometime this month with deliveries expected to start in the fall.

Extremely jealous of the extra stuff that Canada gets, plus the black interior with the pearl white.

Turn signal lights in the mirrors, black gauge cluster instead of white & an upgraded center dash gauge LCD display. Not to mention, the color combo pointed out above.

From the models I test drove, all of them had the black gauge cluster but only the Sport models had the LCD screen.

Finally had a chance to take her [Sport Premium 5spd] out for a proper spin--

After 7k miles, I have absolutely no regrets about purchasing this car. Only gripe is it that it could use some more power, but I can't argue with 34mpg highway. I've had a chance to do some modest mods as well courtesy of ideas from this forum:

35% ceramic tint all around
LED DRLs, corner lights, -> map and dome lights <- highly recommended
STI Titanium shift knob
Kartboy SS & bushings
Fumoto Valve
RAAMmat BXT and Ensolite on all 5 doors
Pioneer amp and new front comp speakers on stock HU

Pretty happy with this set-up so far. Next thing is to wait for the warranty to expire and swap in the new 2014 wrx/sti engine. One day!

Man! Monument valley right? that offroad was insane when I went 1 month ago.

About the power, Not much you can do at the moment as third party companies haven't made much, but a local i know said he removed the back part of the grille, which induced more cold air into the engine. His performance and MPG went up.

Where did you buy your LED's for your DRL's?

Ebay? If so, what was the seller name.

I don't want to get trick into buying cheap crappy ones.
