Default Shifter for mid mounted engine

I tried to get as much in the title as possible. What I am looking to do is to build a ej20 powered mid-engine car. The question I have is what to do with the shifter. I am wondering if someone makes a kit for this type of conversion. I would assume, since there are manufacturers who make mid engine kit cars based on this engine platform. I searched a few of their sites but did not come up with any specific details pertaining to this.

Thanks in advance for any insight,

Check the conversions forum, there's at least two EJ engine --> Porsche 914 conversions. Check out those threads. I think they did pretty custom stuff, but you can get some ideas.
