Cool who has the most miles on thier subaru!

Hello fellow Subaru Owners!

I was just wondering, wanted to open a thread where people w/ original N/A motor in their original chassis w/ no internal work done (head gaskets, piston rings, buckets, etc...) who has the most mileage?

I'm currently gonna hit 250,000 miles soon and was wondering if there was anybody out there that has hit more than me w/o any internal repair services done?

thanks!

I know their are lots out there with over 300k. My wife's '96 Outback with the ej22 has over 250k on it. No internal work has been done and it still runs great.

I've got a relatively high 140K on my '06, still purrs like new though, no issues at all. I plan on driving it til they bury us together(me in the trunk), and figure I'll be pushing the million mile mark then

I have a 97 Legacy L 2.2L, just did head gaskets, all original. Also an 01 Impreza L I just did the 2.2/2.5L frankenstein for. Both cars run awesome and are over 360k km's or about 225k miles each.

I just bought a '96 Impreza Outback with 219,700 miles on it... It has some oil leaks and has been worked on by godzilla, apparently. Lots of broken stuff due to over-tightening.

I'm at 245,000 on my 2001 RS. Original motor. I've never gotten service records so I don't know what's been done but it's definitely all stock internals.

111k on an '07...not a lot but working my way up there. Isn't there a 400/500k club on here? I thought one of the Subaru forums I belonged to had something like that.

I used to work in a shop in Seattle about 5 years ago and we had a customer that had a 80's loyale wagon that was sooooo ugly-paint, dents, lots of character. That car had 360k miles on it and was the original motor. I know that the head gaskets were probably replaced once or twice, but no 'real' work was done. Head gaskets on loyale's were like oil changes. I could do 2 a day back then The owner said she would get rid of it if it ever let her down.

...make that 220,478 miles.... Yes, I drove a car I am completely unfamiliar with almost 800 miles in 4 days.

So far it's puked out all of its coolant via the overflow tank and sprayed over 2 quarts of oil onto its undercarriage....

Other than that, it's pretty sweet.

That is very cool. You have spent quite a few hours in that car. A percentage of your lifetime!

Just got rid of my 1998 Subaru Legacy wagon last weekend. It had 385k kms on it. Engine was still running fine, but the body was finally rusting out beyond repair.

Bought an '06 Subaru Impreza 2.5i with 118k kms.
