Talking In Maine in February!

Hello,

I am going to be moving to the Portland area at the beginning of February. I was trying to get the skinny, low down, gouge on the area. I have a Platinum Silver Sedan 2002 WRX.
Is there a group of you that work on your WRX's? What about any tuning shops in the area?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Jason

Jason,
There are a bunch of us up here in Bangor, but I can't comment on Portland. Check out the Maine website...www.maine-street.com

Welcome to Maine! :-)

Cheers! John

I live in Portland but just have lowly 2.5 RS. There haven't been any local subaru meets since I moved here, but there have been some maine-street.com meets, which I unfortunately didn't go to. We'll have to get something set up for this area after you move

Talking Thanks....

Thanks for the information. I am moving from the Jacksonville region. I am in the Navy and I am from all over really, origionally from Colorado. Right now I am deployed overseas and will be getting back to Maine at the beginning of February. I haven't done too many mods to my car, but after I get back I am hoping to. I am looking at the vivid racing stage one suspension mod and perhaps an up-pipe down the road.

I'll check out CMperformance when I get back to Maine.

Catch you all later.

What are you doing in the Navy? I have a buddy who is a retired senior chief from FTC Mayport down thattaway.

As far as meeting up and working on cars, various garage days and meets always pop up in the spring and summer, and a lot of us do events all over the area (including ice racing, autocross, rallycross, and time trials)... just show up to a few of them and meet up with people!

Cheers,

/Andrew

Jason,
Had you posted before? If not, there's another P-3 jockey with a Subaru stationed at BNAS. You might want to search this forum to find out who it is.

Cheers! John
