Garett, wow that sounds really good . To bad I bought my TurboXS setup a few weeks ago from you (which I am loving), if the Perrin system was out then I would of really considered it.

Rick

p.s. your Video 2 link was a repeat of the Video 1 link.....

With that being said here is the link to the actual Video 2

Are these video/sound clips from the turbo back or cat back? You said in the post they are cat back, but the files are named turbo back...

Two questions......

1.How does the Perrin cat back sound without the downpipe, and will it bolt DIRECTLY to the stock pipes? I am looking to keep my car stock for warranty issues, and a new down pipe is not in the cards.

2.Is the Perrin exhaust for 04' WRX and is it stainless coated or actual T304 throughout?

Is the axleback by itself for sale? Will it fit a TurboXS stealthback?

They're from a turboback system. I don't know how different it would sound on a car with an otherwise stock exhaust. It would definitely be quieter but I don't know if the tone would change much.

Still need to know if the catback will bolt directly to the factory pipes without leaks?

Ami2fast...

I want you to know that I completely understand, but keep in mind that the only system that we sell more of than this new Perrin cat back is the RFL systems. I am sure that you will enjoy it a great deal.

Vette..

All fixed thanks for the heads up!

LYHTSPD...

I appologize these clips are most definately with the Perrin Turbo back system featuring their catless downpipe which is also in stock and ready to go...

JH225...

I have heard the Perrin exhaust without the downpipe and the best way that I can describe it is that the tone remains almost the exact same but it is much more mellow in terms of volume. If its possible to comprehend the exhaust also seems to loose a bit of ferocity when you have the stock downpipe. All in all it still sounds fantastic, has less volume and is still very ferocious.

SupaSizeFries....

Perrin has no plans to release an axle back, I appologize.

JH225...

The Perrin cat back will bolt right up the factory pipe with no leaks at all. All gaskets are included with the system. This is the way that more than half of our customers are using the cat back to date.

garface...

I will accquire these shots and post them ASAP.

All...

I still have more than 20 Perrin cat backs here, lets get these things moving. Please use the provided link to transfer to our site and learn more. The Perrin system will not dissopoint and that is the bottom line!

Cheers,

I would assume it will sound just like on the catless system only a bit quieter at all points.. the tone should remain very similar.

you should see the gain you would get w/ a staright through 3" catback system.... the exact amounts are debatable depending on your source....

You can expect some improvement in hp & tq across the entire power band plus a much nicer sound and some good looks.

I'm very much considering purchasing this exhaust in a few weeks when I get paid. Does anyone that purchased this have any reviews of it. I really would like to hear some kind of feedback regarding this exhaust (i.e. exhaust note, droning, etc.).

Is there a way i can get this muffler as just the muffler? I would like to use this on my 2000 2.5 rs with my turbo kit? Wanted to make my own system or does anyone know any universal mufflers that look like the perrin muffler and sound the same or close to this setup? Thanks

Garrett
