Post Do you Subaru peeps ever get together and hang out?

Because when I had a 300z, the Z guys at twintrubo.net would all gather once a year and drive up some mtn, and they would all meet together at the car shows etc... talk car stuff. Just wondering if you guys have the same type of camraderie(is that how its spelled?). I'm from Sothern Cali, so if there is anything going on here , I would like to know

Here's a link to a page that us guyz up here in Vancouver, B.C., Canada which document the events that we've had over the past year. We had over 50 Subaru's at our August meet which at that point in time was one of the largest Subaru gatherings. But of course, we've been out done since then!

Just keep your eyes open here or the Southern California Forum for meets.

Too bad Subaru drivers in MN don't connect as well. Maybe it's me. Can't be, I'm too nice of a guy heheheh No problem though as long as I can drive my RS all day long.

Is bigger than yours.

Every Monday the NW people go eat wings on alternating sides of the lake. Then there are the occasional work party/pizza fests when somebody needs stuff done to their cars.
EDIT: Not to mention the frequent karting.

Sorry... Sorry... Not tryin to bang you or anything, but this is a pretty dumb post!

Kinda like going to the Civil War reinactment club and saying "Hey, do you guys ever get together and reinact battles?"

Dude, you should have looked around a little more first... The reason why there are all those different "Location" forums is for the people there to make posts and coordinate info for meets and things. Go check them out!

Well here in New England we STILL hold the record in North America for an Impreza club meet. (63) And that was just a few weeks ago and it was cold! (32ish degrees)

And we're having the next one (Meet #7) on Mar 31st so it should be warmer to bring MORE out. And also, the WRX should be here, so it'll be yet another milestone in meets.

Only had the date announced 2 days ago and we already have 17 people saying they're going.

We had the Battle Of Aiken re-enactment last weekend and it was pretty funny. When they set off the large cannons all the parked cars for 3 or 4 blocks away started their alarm systems blaring. Most of them were yuppy SUVs which bounce around pretty easily.

So in the middle of gunfire and yelling, fake wounds, etc etc you have car alarms going off.

Sigh.... That's why my car alarm is a very big crowbar and me.

When it comes to meets and clubs, you can't beat the Z's. I think a subie club would be pretty boring around here, like a collection of 30-40 RS's that all look the same. The car doesn't have any character yet IMHO. You should have kept the z too, I did.

Us Tri-State people get together every so often, too...So far our official record is 26 cars methinks...We plan on beating those silly CT people once it gets warmer!

Boxer.... Hrm, so Rs's have no charcter?
What a joke... I've never seen so many variations of the RS.. from bone stock (something like mine) to a RS-T, OBS-T and everything in between. RS's are born w/ character... of course this is in my humble opinion

P.S. my last two cars were 83 turbo Z then a 76 Z. Both awesom cars
